5days Overdue.. Mem Sweep at Home? What to Expect ?
hi im 5 days over due today with my 1st little girl .. i am having a home birth and my midwife is coming to my house at 2pm today to check little one and give me a sweep …
my question is (for any mums/mums2b that have had a sweep at home..) wat will she ask me to do … lie on my bed with a sheet? or … what did u do at home?
and also im a little worried .. im home on my own today until 5:30 pm when im meant to go and pick my man up from work… (as his bike is in for mot) i can get my mum, his mum or a friend to get him but if the sweep dose work …. do u think it would be that quick? wats your experience? .. that would be 3 n half hours after the sweep… thank you for any help /info xx
I had a mem sweep when 7 days over due,bout 11 in our room with a towel underneath. be prepared it hurts a bit. i felt wierd for the rest of the day but nothing happened,they suggest going for a walk to help things along. had my first contraction at 2.30 the next morning.
