Blue Yeti – the High-End Plug and Play Audio Microphone
Blue Yeti – The High-End plug and play Audio Microphone
Blue Yeti is a first THX certified USB microphone from Blue. The weight of Blue Yeti is up to 2kg, with the looks of Blue Yeti is very incredible. Remind me of country style radio station mic. Inside the box, Blue Yeti USB Microphone comes along with a built in stand that allows you to position it on a desk.
The Yeti USB really easy to use, simply plug it then your computer should response the microphone. No matter whether you use Windows, or Macs, or even Linux distro, Yeti USB works perfectly, so easy to install.
There’s a connection for the headphones where we can monitor your levels, and also there’s a headphone volume knob. For mute, there’s a large Gain control at this Blue Microphones Yeti that flashes when you activate it. Very useful knob.
The very useful knob is the dial at the front of mic, which enables you to switch between 4 different modes. Omnidirectional, BiDirectional, Stereo and Cardioid. Just switch the dial to adjust the settings. There’s a little icons on the front of mic to make it easier even for novice to decipher the different kinds of recording types, and there’s a handy illustrated guide that helps you set for podcasting, musical recordings, interviews or VoIP calls.
The sound quality from this Yeti USB is really awesome that even can be compared to the other good microphone out there. Yes it is true, if you compare to an over $1500 audio equipment, Blue Yeti USB Microphone wasn’t quite as good, but the Blue Yeti does a pretty good job for something just around $250, very reasonably portable and stress free when we try to set it up. So to sum this up, if you are looking to take your audio seriously, this Microphone is really recommended.
