    maybe not the best for begginers, but pretty complete in terms of music, and you are a really good player! keep it up

    Thanks for commenting. It’s a good “intro” to the technique, but the piece itself is fairly challenging. Gives people something to inpire them to keep practicing! I’ll put up another lesson soon…

    Nice melodic piece. How about posting some alternate picking clips? I can always judge how good a lesson is by how detailed a teacher is about picking technique.

    Actually, I’m posting something today that deals with picking. It’s not necesarily about the technique itself (how to hold your hand, etc.), but it’s about mapping out your pickstrokes; when to use alternate vs. double downs, etc. Hope you like it. A more detailed strictly picking lesson will probably be the next one. Take care,
