Correct!! It is a Herman Li Signature. My EJ strat is getting re-fretted this week so I borrowed this guitar from a student of mine.
Check him out, you can see him play on his Youtube channel BrandonGordonMusic. Cheers!!
I love the paint job
Excellent 5 Stars
been waitin a little while for this one, thanks
This is a great lesson, you’re a great teacher. The only suggestion I would make is to play the lick at tempo at the beginning (with some background chord reference), before you start digging into the details. It would help to understand the overall tonality of what we’re trying to hear. That being said, great lesson and I appreciate your work!!
This lesson helped me a lot. Thanks =)
first of all, i ove your guitar, second of all, i fail at alternate icking

if you’re playing in A min wouldn’t a F# min pentatonic actually be a major pentatonic?
@Adrain30 Yes that is correct. To be able to think of any major pentatonic’s, minor pentatonic equivalent just think of its relative minor key. For example G Major Penatonic is the same notes as E Minor Pentatonic. D Major Pentatonic is the same notes as B Minor pentatonic etc.. Cheers!! Carl..
so the motion is like alternate picking but slow with sweep pick motion right?
@cunigham Its basically alternate picking any notes on the same string and sweep picking when changing strings. Does that help answer your question?
This helps, thanks for uploading this vidz, God Bless you
wow cheers for this video, i dont think he could make it more clear or be more helpful – he knows exactly what hes talkin about
n the quality is crystal clear, u cant goo wrong with this video!!
thanks alot, it REALY helped.
while I think this technique is useful to study, I think the 2 note tradtional approach to pentatonics is much better for blues/blues-rock playing.. to sweep really well takes serious effort to get it smooth.. I dont think it’s necessarily faster.. just listen to someone like Eric Johnson.. he’s fluid, fast and classy
@cunigham think of it as economy picking.
