You don’t need LINKS you just need PRACTICE and PRACTICE and PRACTICE.. and as long as you have to THINK where to put your fingers you will NEVER BE FAST. The only way to be fast is to have the MUSCLE MEMORY so you don’t have to THINK what you are going to do.. you just do it.. and THAT takes PRACTICE and PRACTICE and PRACTICE.. there is no quick eary way and there is no LINK that can open the top of your head and dip the ability in with a spoon.
Simply practicing will not increase your speed. It’s true you will be able to play the songs you already can play faster, but that is not the issue. What you really need to do is improve your technique so you can play harder songs and play them fast.
Get this book: SPEED MECHANICS by Troy Stetina. It has the right kind of exercises to work your fingers and the exercises get progressively more difficult, so by the time you get to the end of the book, you will see a significant improvement if you… ahm… erm… practice.
