How Can I Sweep Pick on Guitar?

I cant seem to accomplish sweep picking. I understand the idea but no matter how much i practice i cant get it down! Ive had over a years experience if that helps

      I think you should just keep practicing. A LOT! I couldn’t get used to shifting in cello, but in a couple of weeks of months of practicing, you will get it.

      Or you can just not do it, I guess. If everything else fails.
