Sweep-Picking.org

This song has been killing me for a while. I can do most of it. I really can’t get the first solo, where it breaks into distortion. I can’t pick it right, and i been trying to get better at sweep picking and all that good stuff, but i can’t seem to get it. What can i do to practice and be able to play this solo? (Yes, this song is on Guitar Hero 2)
