How Long Did It Take U to Play Sweep Picking Perfect?

    It shouldn’t take too long if you’re practicing it diligently. You should be able to get it in a couple weeks. You just have to start slowly, and make sure your technique is decent. Play it with a metronome so you know you’re on the beat. Gradually speed up so that you can play a sweep of 6 notes across 5 strings (two notes on the A string) up and down at 80 bpm within two beats. That should be pretty easy to do. Practice Major and Minor, and when you have them, start with the really cool diminished sweeps.

    Edited to say that I can’t count apparently…it should be 7 notes across 5 strings, and it should have two notes on the high E string as well.

    A LONG time. I am not the best guitar player, but its about perfect timing between picking and fretting hand. I am not to good at this, and being an AC/DC fan, use A LOT of h-O’s and P-Os
