How to Make SWEEP PICKING?

i know is a hard-advanced technique but i wanna know…..

how do i hold the pick?? ….. do i hold it tight or ???

where do i put my hand?? … if y put my hand on the strings i make palm muted

and everything you could tell me…. lol

    Sweep picking is played just like a strum of a chord except, you glide your pick on each note on the downstroke. You lift the fingers as soon as you played the note. The secret to sweeps is to always, finish the last note with an up stroke of the pick.

    Start with a 3-note chord, like Triads, and add the 4th note with an up-stroke. Then practice minor triads etc…
    Then, practice 4, 5 ,6, 7, 8th note sweeps once you get the hang of it.
