just get an Ibanez in most cases, but sence you play so fast you should buy this one.http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Ibanez-S2009SC-Electric-Guitar?sku=580832
Get an Ibanez, ESP, or BC Rich. And use light gauge strings, they’re easier to bend and do hammer on’s
I use to use D’Addario for 14 years. I’ve recently switched to Ernie Ball slinky’s. I use 10′s, which are a basic gauge to use if you’re going to play a variety of music. Metal bands like a heavier gauge, if they de-tune their guitars. 11′s, 12′s, 13′s should work just fine, or get 10′s that have a lower gauge on the E, A, & D strings.
The Ernie Ball strings seemed to be a little slick and faster playing than the D’addario brand.
For guitars… well, that’s all based on preference too dude.. Buckethead likes to use Gibson’s and Ibanez guitars. Those are two completely different brands and models.
I play Schecter guitars myself, but I haven’t been impressed with their quality the last couple years. Ibanez RG series is a popular brand and model for metal.
