Visualundeath: Thanks a lot, man. I’m glad you dig the lick! Unfortunately, I’ve played licks like these one too many times. Because of that, I’m starting to actually take a step back and learn the basics, learn some theory, etc. since I know absolutely none. When I get bored and want to hear some guitar insanity, I usually fire up some Ron Thal MP3s. =)

You’re picking is very interesting. it looks like you don’t pick each note, but focus more on legato…. I mean you hardly move your wrist…. Nice speed.
