Learn Violin Style Volume Swells – Guitar Lesson – Lick of the Week – Rock – Metal -Jazz

    How can i do this with a les paul, the knobs arent as close and i dont really want to switch guitars in the middle of a song.

    @FootsyFootage You can hammer on the notes with the left hand then swell in the volume knob. It is a little more difficult to do but that is usually the way most players with Les Paul style guitars do it. :)

    @FootsyFootage You could investigate about Joe Bonamassa and watch his performances on video, he is really a master and utilizes this technique a lot.

    i’ve got a problem,, and I don’t know if someone could help me here : i think my volume knob is too tight, and i would like to loosen it up a little bit so my finger would ajust better to it.. does anyone know how can i do this?? please help mee

    I bought a pretty cheap volume pedal (Morley Optical Volume) for $60 new and it works great for volume swells.

    @FootsyFootage joe bonamassa does it with a les paul you can do it just only with the rhythm pickup with your pinky or you coud get a volume pedal
