Be careful while putting your palm near the edge of the strings in you bridge. It doesn’t matter if your guitar has a “Floyd Rose” type tremolo or fixed bridge. Try to play with the minimum of movement, this is the safest way to play fast and precise Follow the tab below. Don’t forget, always practice with a metronome. There is no point to play fast and sloppy. For any queries don’t hesitate to ask me personally at theodoreziras.com

    @tziras theodore, what do you think about circle picking??? is a bad technique ? i ask this because my technique is a combination of circle pick and the wrist…….btw you have great speed and control.

    @meneypro
    i cannot do it so i cannot tell you if it is good or bad

    That was great. Id really like to increase my picking speed Ive been practicng some basic excercises like the one in your video to a metrenome but Im finding it frustrating and slow.
    Whats the right way to use a metrenome ?
    (I ve heard its just start slow and increase the tempo until you cant keep up anymore..)

    @pyote5
    you almost answer it…
    play it very very slow….and then increase the speed
    it will take some time….good luck

    Excellent lesson! What gauge strings do you use, please? do you find heavier better for fast picking?
