Be careful while putting your palm near the edge of the strings in you bridge. It doesn’t matter if your guitar has a “Floyd Rose” type tremolo or fixed bridge. Try to play with the minimum of movement, this is the safest way to play fast and precise Follow the tab below. Don’t forget, always practice with a metronome. There is no point to play fast and sloppy. For any queries don’t hesitate to ask me personally at theodoreziras.com
@tziras just wondering whats your top BPM speed?
@RussianMindControl
it is 320bpm (16th notes)
@tziras theodore, what do you think about circle picking??? is a bad technique ? i ask this because my technique is a combination of circle pick and the wrist…….btw you have great speed and control.
@meneypro
i cannot do it so i cannot tell you if it is good or bad
try it and if it suits you just do it
personally i prefer to play form the wrist

@PhilipDick2008
Yeah. I am using Dunlop Stubby Jazz III picks now.
@eagle8520 LOL, nooby little man
That was great. Id really like to increase my picking speed Ive been practicng some basic excercises like the one in your video to a metrenome but Im finding it frustrating and slow.
Whats the right way to use a metrenome ?
(I ve heard its just start slow and increase the tempo until you cant keep up anymore..)
@pyote5
you almost answer it…
play it very very slow….and then increase the speed
it will take some time….good luck
im trying to get this excersise to 150 bpm then move to the part 2 excersise ( i know i cant spell)
is that good? and after will this increase my ability to play scales faster?
@sonicthehedgehogxp
yes…in both questions
Excellent lesson! What gauge strings do you use, please? do you find heavier better for fast picking?
@comic1997
i use 9′s…but this has nothing to do with fast picking…at least for me
how much bpm you recomend to increse per day?
@joshuaph85
2-3 bpm will be great
@tziras and when i get to a point were is to hard and i cant increase the bpm what can i do?
@joshuaph85
practice more…
