@blah148 Why not just say that? I don’t believe you should ALWAYS sweep in thirds, but you should definitely focus on it and then throw in whatever the hell you want.

@skerpunky you should use 4 fingers man its much easier and you will need that pinky for other sweeps so you need to practice with it

when he says “e minor arpeggio” does that mean the root note is an e minor or its built of an e minor chord

@sanfiltj if you play the same riff many times, you don`t have to be an expert to play a cool riff. Just keep playing music you like, starting at easier level and growing in your skills with every new song you play, and soon 4 arpegies combo will sound very nicely for you))

you are the best at teaching in this youtube world, I am sure there are lots of people that may be better….but it’s much easier to learn from you…some teachers are just trying to show off, they don’t really want to teach..they hide everything and make it complicated, and their hands are very vague…..I rate you 10 out of 10

@paranoidandroid695 An arpeggio is just playing the notes of a chord individually. For an E minor arpeggio, the root note is an E, the minor 3rd is a G and the 5th is a B. But don’t worry too much about the notes, just remember the shapes that these major and minor arpeggios make on the fretboard, then learn the notes after!

@gitbad ok but also i dont get what you mean by “minor 3rd” and “minor 5th”. i just bought fretboard logic though maybe that will help

@sanfiltj haha you’ll get it if you stick with it. Imo, guitar is just pure dedication and repetition. If you stick with it and practice, you’ll eventually get whatever technique you’re trying to learn.
