TIP FOR ALL: MOVE that damn guitar away from your chin!! If you spend your life SITTING on your bed, (or wherever) you wont be able to play your chops onstage. I enjoy all these videos, but man, that is just stupid; look at all the thumbnails of people with the guitar almost touching their chin. Its noob sh#t.

@nfgsum41 alright, sorry about that comment… i just barley got access to the internet and i was feeling cocky about finally having vidoes for everyone to see.

i noticed that during some of your sweeps your thumb slightly curls over the top of the neck, and on others it stays behind the neck. Do you notice any difference between the two methods? I’ve been practicing sweeps a lot and i noticed that my thumb is usually slightly curled over the neck while most other players I’ve seen have it pressed against the middle.

i wanna be as good as you your EPIC, but i never will so im gunna stick with guitar hero coz it makes me feel good

@MrBrightside0415 hey I saw your question and figured I’d reply. I have always had trouble with that; naturally my thumb likes to go up high like you. Apparently that is not a good habit as the thumb is supposed to stay around the middle of the neck according to most people. I always work on keeping my thumb in the middle of the neck because you will get much more stretch and freedom of movement (not just with sweeping but with everything). And I noticed that 1 3 4 picking patterns are much bet
