Tips to Increase Speed While Playing Guitar.?
So I can play everything on the guitar except those crazy fast solo’s that guitarist’s like John Petrucci make. I need help most when it comes to alternate picking up arpeggios really fast. So if anyone has any exercises or tips that will help increase speed please share.

I don’t know of this John Petrucci you speak of, but I double majored in Music, and Music Composition, and I can tell you as a professional Violinist, I increase my speed with many household items, I spray my hand with rubbing alcohol and water and just play without my bow (no picking in your case), it should decrease the coefficient of friction between your hand and the string, increasing the protein meltdown and regrowth in your fingers producing faster licks.
