What Are Guitar Arpeggios?

What are Guitar Arpeggios, and how are they played?
How do you play a major c arpegio? Are they hard to learn??
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Basically, an arpeggio is when you play the chord not all the notes at the same time, but from low to high (usually) at a slow enough pace to hear the separate notes. So it’s just a slow strum. Pretty easy on guitar.

    Now, it could also mean playing the notes and not sustaining them, like fingering the notes of a chord like a melody. But usually on guitar it’s just a slow strum.
